These shutters were mounted on a window in a dinette area
near the kitchen. They were made of maple wood and
had a beautiful "burnt sugar" stain. The 2.5" movable louvers
were just what the window needed. The four panels opened as a
two panel bifold so the client could clear the panels from the window
opening when neccessary. These shutters were manufactured here
in the United States. The company Kirtz Shutters is dedicated to
being the premier manufacturer of the world's finest wood shutter.
The wood for this project was maple. Kirtz Shutters uses high density
maple for longevity and lasting beauty. The durability and
quality of these shutters was outstanding. To learn more

Our fine hardwood shutters come in a choice of Northern Basswood, Incense Cedar, Alder, or Indonesian Hardwood. Our most popular hardwood shutters are made from the finest grade of Northern Basswood, sustainably grown and harvested in forests located in the Northern Midwest USA and Southern Canada. Basswood is popular because of its very tight grain and resistance to splitting and warping.
