This large bay window was in a family room. We decided to do a "tweed" looking fabric for this box pleat valance and trim the hemline with a darker olive green banding. This valance is board mounted and the results was a nice simple look.

These shades also had a "lite-rise" lift system. Just an easy raise and lower the shade without any cords
hanging out of the shade along the sides. Lite-rise is an ideal option for people with children or pets !
Also the top-down/bottom-up feature was great for this family room as well. The shade could be lowered from the top or raised from the bottom.

Banding was two inches wide and applied two inches above the finished length.
