This is a bachelor's den window that resembles a cuff on a shirt. We
enjoyed picking out a masculine striped fabric to make the window
treatment work in this space.
The cornice board that finishes the
top was banded and piped with the contrasting black fabric and to add a
simple touch we added the black accent buttons. The stripe was used
again on the stationary panels that frame each side of the window.
The
shade underneath was a cordless Hunter Douglas Vignette modern roman
shade. These tiered vignette shades stack up when raised. They are also available as a top-down shade too! The cordless feature on these shades is especially nice when the shade
gets raised and lowered there are no cords to deal with!
This den really was a cozy retreat after the window treatment was installed!
